The Sponsored Projects Advisory Team aims to improve the administration of sponsored projects at the University of Michigan. Team members are research administrators from UM academic and administrative units, including Division of Research Development and Administration (DRDA), Financial Operations, ITS, and Procurement Services.

The Advisory Team tries to build a common understanding of the issues facing research administration. We:

  • Discuss new issues and facilitate solutions.
  • Address specific problems as they arise.
  • Continue to clarify the roles and responsibilities of central and academic units.
  • Manage communications about research administration.
  • Evaluate solutions and subsequent policy and procedure changes.

Real Time Financials
